CPI, (Connecticut Parachutes, Inc.) who was under contract with NASA, provides all the parachutes used for anything that is to land on the moon or mars that required a parachute.
They were developing new parachutes for different weight and sized objects.
Northeast supplied the MD500 to help assist with the drops.
The Mission was very successful!
