NEH Alumni Koril in Afghanistan

Koril

Koril is flying in Afghanistan until March, 2011. He says the mountains and terrain are beautiful there, but very unforgiving and the enemy loves to shoot at them.

In this picture they were transporting French Presidents, staff and security while they visited.

He says it is fun flying in a six ship formation. The formation included a Tiger, Alouette, and a Cougar helicopter.
