The Future of Helicopter Navigation

The modern age of aviation electronics is here, and we at Northeast Helicopters strive to keep our instrument training aircraft updated with state of the art equipment. Recently we have added WAAS, ( "Wide Area Augmentation System" ) to our GPS systems. WAAS is the newest technology used with GPS to provide a highly accurate signal for IFR navigation.

We're one of the only flight schools in the country that operates certified WAAS avionics in our training helicopters.  We are always looking for ways to keep our students training to meet or exceed the industry standard. This benefits our students and separates them from other pilots when they begin working in the helicopter industry.
