The Whirly-Girls Scholarship Fund, Inc. was incorporated in 1974 to oversee and administer the scholarship funds raised by the Whirly-Girls and their auxiliaries. |

The Scholarship fund administers many separate scholarships currently valued at over $40,000.00.
Scholarships are awarded at an annual gathering to selected applicants who have been a Whirly-Girl in good standing for at least one year; awards must be used by the recipient in the year awarded.
What do the Whirly-Girls do?
- Promotion of women in the helicopter industry through scholarship awards, mentoring, public appearances, press releases, magazine articles and informational displays in aviation museums.
- Exchange of information among woman in helicopter aviation.
- Promotion of community acceptance of helicopters through increasing public awareness of helicopters utility and versatility.

Who Can Join?
Any certificated (or licensed) female helicopter pilot anywhere in the world can become a member of the Whirly-Girls. Upon joining, she will be assigned her own lifetime membership number and access to everything the Whirly-Girls offer.
Northeast Helicopters is actively involved with the Whirly-Girls.
NEH has given scholarships out at the annual HAI convention for two years now. Rhonda Boulette is also an active auxiliary member for the Whirly-Girls. |
